Biography »
Laura El-Tantawy's photography tends to rest between the fine line of documentary and fine art photography and her work is strictly inspired by her vision and a nagging persistence to see the world through a vibrant color palette. Her personal projects have taken her through Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iran, India, Thailand, Senegal and the Gambia, France, Italy and England.
Her work has appeared in several publications, including Saudi Aramco World, Harpers, National Geographic, Thailand: 9 Days in the Kingdom photography book, Bangkok 101 as well as several on-line outlets, including Burn magazine, Eleanor magazine and F-Stop magazine.
El-Tantawy lives between London, UK, her country of birth and Cairo, Egypt, where she grew up.Publications »
