Biography »
I am a 24-year-old photojournalist / documentary photographer based in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on news and documentary photography . I studied Interior Architecture for three years at local private college before pursuing photography. As a self-taught photographer who started shooting 3 years ago, i developed a very personal and sensitive style coupled with strong aesthetics, and is constantly open to new challenges. I am one of the alumni of few young and emerging Asian photographers who was chosen to attend the workshop at the Angkor Photography Festival . My work has been published in E9 magazine, The National UAE, Sutra Magazine, The New Internationalist, Berita Harian Singapore, Strait Times Singapore, UNESCO Korea, several international magazines and newspapers. Besides pursuing personal projects documenting issues that interest me , i have freelanced for wire agencies such as AFP and Reuters in Kuala Lumpur and am currently working on Urbanisation effects around major cities in South East Asia.Publications »
