Photographer Biography: Thomas De Cian

Biography »

Thomas De Cian was born in Italy in 1978. After finishing high school he moved to Australia where he studied journalism at Griffith University and became interested in photography. He has been a freelance photojournalist since 2001. After graduating, his passion for photography and interest in understanding and reporting on different cultures brought him to Southeast Asia and he has been living in the region since 2002. His work has been published in both Europe and Asia, and has been showcased at various photography festivals. Thomas De Cian is distributed by Nazca Pictures Agency and is currently based in Bangkok, Thailand.
